JetBlue CEO warns 5G flight disruptions may ‘stress’ U.S. aviation

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – JetBlue Airways Chief Executive Officer Robin Hayes instructed workers on Monday that the deliberate rollout of latest 5G service by AT&T and Verizon on Wednesday is about to “additional stress our already fragile air system.”

Hayes stated in a memo the airline is getting ready for the “worst” when the brand new service and new flight restrictions take impact. “While we’ll do our greatest to keep away from buyer disruption, we received’t be capable of keep away from the affect of this, together with vital flight delays, cancellations, and diversions in low visibility flying,” Hayes wrote.
