JOHOR BARU: The functionality of Opposition events to work collectively and bring stability to the Johor authorities has been referred to as into query, with MCA Youth claiming that the alliance between them is tenuous.

Johor MCA Youth deputy chief Tai Chee How mentioned DAP Socialist Youth (Dapsy) vice-chief Muhammad Shakir Ameer Mohideen’s declare that the Pakatan-Muda alliance may bring stability to the nation’s politics was untenable.

“Pakatan parties contested under the same banner for the Melaka election but in the Sarawak election, they contested under their respective banners.

“In the upcoming Johor polls, they have split into two with PKR using their own flag while the others are using the Pakatan banner.

“They cannot even agree upon a common logo so where is the stability? Which parties does Pakatan represent?” he requested in an announcement on Tuesday (Feb 22).

Tai added that it was public data that PKR and Muda are in disagreement over seat allocations and each side are sometimes seen arguing with one another.

“Having a solid and united coalition is a basic condition before we may talk about pushing for policies, developing plans and promoting national economic development.

“However, Pakatan does not even have this basic requirement so how are they planning to bring stability to benefit the people,” he mentioned.
