YAN: The Kedah authorities has declared Jan 18 next year as an occasional holiday along side Thaipusam.
Mentri (*18*) Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor stated the matter was permitted on the state exco assembly on Wednesday (Dec 15).
“The occasional holiday isn’t given routinely every year. It needs to be mentioned and permitted in an exco assembly,” he informed reporters after the Sabo Dam building mission handover ceremony to the contractor at Titi Hayun right here.
He stated it’s hoped the approval will carry pleasure to the neighborhood who have fun this pageant. – Bernama
