King consents to setting up of RCI to investigate Tabung Haji issues, says Wan Junaidi


KUALA LUMPUR: The authorities has obtained the consent of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to investigate Lembaga Tabung Haji’s administration and operational points from 2014 to 2020.

Minister within the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar (pic) mentioned the setting up of the RCI was in accordance with the Commission of Inquiry Act 1950 (Act 119).
