(Reuters) -Aston Martin mentioned sales to dealers in 2021 surged 82%, even because the British luxurious automaker forecast lower-than-expected annual adjusted core earnings on fewer-than-planned shipments of its Valkyrie sports activities vehicles within the fourth quarter.

The firm mentioned on Friday it expects annual adjusted core earnings to be about 15 million kilos ($20.31 million) decrease than anticipated.

Aston Martin mentioned the Valkyrie vehicles had been bought and people not shipped have been allotted to clients with important deposits.

The firm bought 6,182 vehicles final yr, pushed primarily by demand for its first sport utility car, the DBX.
