Taiwan-based Malaysian singer Jyin Poh introduced on Dec 1 that her father has handed away.
Poh broke the information in an Instagram put up captioned: “Dad went back to find mom.”
While the 34-year-old star didn’t reveal her father’s explanation for demise, she expressed feeling “distressed” over the loss in a Facebook Story this afternoon.
“My heart is in pain. My beloved, most-respected father is gone,” she wrote.
The singer, best known for her album You Know I’m Waiting For You, always shared a special bond with her parents and even described them as her biggest motivation.
In June 2016, Poh penned a track, My First Love, for her father.
“Oh, I love you/You’re always by my side/I don’t want to wait till you’re gone and regret not loving you enough,” the track goes.
China Press reported that the music artiste had not been in a position to return to Malaysia to accompany her mother and father in recent times as a result of pandemic. Nevertheless, that did not cease Poh from showering them with love.
On Mother’s Day this 12 months, the singer requested her brother to assist order a few of her mother’s favorite dishes so she may “recall the time when the whole family dined together”.
Unfortunately, Poh would lose her mother to a severe sickness in August. She was in her 70s.
