KUALA LUMPUR: A foreigner who bought offended and swore and made lewd gestures at a safety guard after he was admonished for not sporting a face masks at a buying mall in Jalan Ampang has been arrested.

Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Ashari Abu Samah stated the suspect got here to the Wangsa Maju police headquarters at round 8.30pm on Monday (April 18) to have his assertion recorded after he realised a video of him not sporting a face masks went viral.

“We arrested the suspect to assist facilitate additional investigations and launched him on police bail,” he stated in a press release on Tuesday (April 19).

He stated the suspect has been recognized as a 44-year-old Canadian man who works and resides in Kuala Lumpur.
