Mat lajak case: Sam granted bail by Court of Appeal

KUALA LUMPUR: The Court of Appeal right here has granted bail for Sam Ke Ting who was convicted of reckless driving that resulted within the deaths of eight youngsters in Johor Baru.

A 3-man panel chaired by Justice P. Ravinthran allowed Sam’s software for depart to attraction and a keep of execution right here on Monday (April 18).

On April 13, the Johor Bahru High Court sentenced Sam to 6 years’ jail and a high-quality of RM6,000 for reckless driving which resulted within the deaths of eight youngsters on Jalan Lingkaran Dalam, Johor Baru, at 3.20am on Feb 18, 2017.
