KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an orange stage alert indicating steady heavy rain in Kelantan and Terengganu until Saturday (Dec 4).
In a press release Friday (Dec 3), MetMalaysia stated steady heavy rain is anticipated in Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Baru, Jeli, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh in addition to Kuala Krai in Kelantan, whereas the areas in Terengganu are Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus and Kuala Terengganu.
