MOSCOW (Bernama): Two people have been killed and more than 20 injured in a shooting in Miami, says the director of the Miami-Dade police department, Alfredo “Freddy” Ramirez III.
Sputnik news agency quoted Ramirez as saying in a tweet on Sunday (May 30) that “I am at the scene of another targeted and cowardly act of gun violence, where over 20 victims were shot and two have sadly died.
‘These are cold-blooded murderers that shot indiscriminately into a crowd and we will seek justice. My deepest condolences to the family of the victims.”
According to NBC Miami, shots were fired outside El Mula banquet hall in the early hours of Sunday morning.
CNN reported that five victims were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, with two of them in critical condition.
