KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd has secured a RM26.9mil underground utilities contract for a mission in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.
In an announcement, it stated its wholly-owned subsidiary Mutu Nusantara Sdn Bhd accepted the letter of award from Pembinaan Tajri Sdn Bhd, appointing it to be the subcontractor for the mission.
Pembinaan Tajri is likely one of the major contractors appointed by Nur Energy Services Sdn Bhd to undertake the mission.
Nur Energy is a unit of Nur Power Sdn Bhd, the unique energy utility agency for Kulim Hi-Tech Park.
Under the contract, Mutu Nusantara will present horizontal directional drilling building works for the set up of 132kV energy cables and fiber optic cables to attach a multinational company’s high-end built-in circuit substrates manufacturing facility to a brand new gasoline insulated substation.
The mission is predicted to be accomplished in August 2023.
According to MN Holdings government director Datuk Clement Toh, the contract is predicted to contribute to the corporate’s earnings for the monetary 12 months ending June 30, 2023, and 2024.
“Going forward, we will continue to actively participate in the tenders, while leveraging on our strong track record over the past 15 years to strengthen our presence in the power infrastructure utilities industry,” he stated.
With this newest win, MNHB’s excellent order e book rose to RM218.9mil.
