KOTA KINABALU: Nine suspects have been arrested over a brawl and robbery in Tawau district.
Tawau OCPD Asst Comm Jasmin Hussin mentioned previous to the incident on Sunday (April 3), one suspect had confronted the complainant in this case for watching him.
“The suspect was inside premises at Kabota Square and apparently became angry when someone kept staring at him,” he mentioned in an announcement on Monday (April 4).
He mentioned that confrontation led to a brawl involving a number of others outdoors the premises.
ACP Jasmin mentioned in accordance with the complainant, he realised that his gold necklace had gone lacking in the course of the combat.
The brawl was damaged up by passers by and the complainant received away, he mentioned, including that two of these concerned in the combat had been injured and sought outpatient therapy at Hospital Tawau.
The complainant lodged a report at 12.58am on Sunday, mentioned ACP Jasmin.
“Following the report, we managed to arrest nine men. One more suspect is being sought,” he mentioned.
He mentioned of the 9 arrested, six will likely be remanded for 4 days, two for 2 days and one for a day.
