No survivor found on crashed aircraft in Cameroon

YAOUNDE, May 12 (Xinhua) — There is not any survivor found after a small aircraft carrying 11 folks crashed in a forest in Cameroon’s Centre area on Wednesday, in line with official media CRTV.

After the search and rescue operation deployed by the prefect of Upper Sanaga division in the Centre area, Albert Nanga, no survivor was found on the Bibey subdivision, CRTV stated on Twitter Thursday night.

The aircraft with 9 passengers and a couple of crew members on board was en route from the capital metropolis of Yaounde to a pump station in Dompta in the North area of the nation, when it misplaced contact with air visitors management, in line with a information launch of the Cameroon Oil Transportation Company.

The victims had been staff of the oil firm which maintains a hydrocarbon pipeline working between Cameroon and neighbouring Chad.

Local media attributed the reason for crash to twister.
