PETALING JAYA: All Muslim nations, especially members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), must condemn the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians, says PAS.

The Ulama Consultative Council said PAS fully supports the Malaysian Government’s official stand that Israel is illegal and founded on Palestinian land, which they occupied in 1948.

PAS Ulama Consultative Council secretary Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali, in a statement, said there had been too many civilian Palestinian lives lost and millions more evicted from their own land by the Israelis.

“The PAS Ulama Consultative Council is of the opinion that any form of normalisation with the Israeli government must be opposed as they are a colonist regime.

“PAS demands the OIC to double its efforts to push all Muslims to provide international protection to Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank, while condemning all attacks from the Israeli Zionist government,” said Mohd Khairuddin.

He said the act of Zionist Jews in the illegal country of Israel in attacking, killing and occupying Palestine is unacceptable.

“This is an international crime which must be stopped at all costs by the rest of the world.

“The fight of the Palestinians against the Zionist Jew aggression to defend their land, lives and honour is a struggle which is their human right to do so as a people under tyranny.

“The unity of the Muslims with various NGOs must be further strengthened to fight the Israeli aggression,” said Mohd Khairuddin.

The Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister also called for all countries to use their diplomatic and political voices to speak up for the Palestinians.

The Malaysian Government under Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, in recent days, has spoken up against the escalated aggression against the Palestinians.

To date, more than 130 Palestinians have been reportedly killed with hundreds more injured as a result of the violence.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque has been attacked since May 7 while Gaza has been bombarded by military airstrikes since May 10.
