Parents urged to be aware of Strep A symptoms after death of six children

Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on Saturday, infectious illnesses paediatrician Prof Kampmann stated Strep A prompted “an a-symptomatic an infection within the majority of individuals, then there’s a sore throat, then scarlet fever, and in a really, very small minority will there be invasive Group A Strep”.
