Egyptian Olympic wrestler Mohamed ‘Kesho’ Ibrahim has been arrested in Paris for an alleged sexual assault.

The Paris prosecutor’s workplace launched a press release saying: “On August 9 round 5am, a person born in March 1998 in Egypt who was a wrestler within the Olympic delegation was arrested in entrance of the Oz cafe.”

It is known he was arrested for allegedly touching the buttocks of one other buyer on the cafe.

The Egyptian Olympic Committee (EOC) named Kesho, who received a bronze medal on the Tokyo 2020 Games, because the group member who had been arrested.

The EOC added he can be investigated by its ethics committee and will face a life ban from competitors.

“If the allegations are substantiated, the wrestler will face everlasting suspension and can be barred from collaborating in each home and worldwide competitions,” it mentioned.

Kesho was overwhelmed by Azerbaijan’s Hasrat Jafarov within the first spherical of the boys’s 67kg Greco-Roman wrestling on Wednesday.

The EOC mentioned he had been given permission to go away the Egyptian camp to look at the ultimate of his weight class however didn’t return and turned off his cellphone.
