GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Smart Parking (PSP) system, which suffered a technical glitch on Wednesday (Jan 19), is anticipated to return to normal operations by 6am on Thursday (Jan 20).
PSP app developer HeiTech Padu Bhd, apologised to customers in an announcement on Wednesday for over any inconvenience brought on and stated the corporate has taken fast measures to resolve the difficulty.
Thousands of PSP app customers have been shocked to discover that the account stability of their PSP e-wallet modified to RM4.40 on Wednesday due to technical issues, although their balances have been beforehand increased.
“User e-wallet information have been restored and we anticipate all transactions to function as normal by 6am tomorrow,” the corporate stated.
PSP is a Penang state authorities initiative to exchange the earlier coupon fee system, and all funds for parking areas underneath the the Penang City Council (MBPP) and Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) have been made through the PSP app because it was launched in 2019. – Bernama
