Peru light plane crash at Nazca Lines kills five tourists, two crew

LIMA (Reuters) – At least seven folks have died after a light plane crashed throughout a flight above the Nazca Lines archaeological web site in Peru, native police and the nationwide authorities stated on Friday.

Local police stated that the deceased included three Dutch vacationers, two Chilean vacationers, and two Peruvian members of crew.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications stated in an announcement that the Cessna 207 plane crashed within the neighborhood of the Maria Reiche airport within the metropolis of Nazca.

“As a results of the accident there have been no survivors,” it stated, including that the reason for the accident is being investigated.
