KUALA LUMPUR: Police have obtained a seven day court order to prohibit demonstrations at Dataran Merdeka, Sogo and Masjid Jamek.
The transfer got here following a deliberate demonstration on (*25*) (Jan 22) to demand motion towards Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya stated they obtained the court order from the Justice of the Peace’s court right here on Jan 20.

He stated police would divert site visitors alongside six major roads inside Dang Wangi from 7am on (*25*) (Jan 22) till the top of the gathering.
“The roads concerned are Jalan Kuching, Jalan Kinabalu, Jalan Maharajalela, Jalan Hang Tuah, Jalan Imbi and Jalan Sultan Ismail.
“Operations at 25 MRT, LRT, Monorail and KTM stations throughout the Dang Wangi space may even be quickly ceased from 7am,” he stated.
ACP Noor Dellhan stated the Pudu, Hang Tuah, Masjid Jamek, Plaza Rakyat, Bandaraya, and Sultan Ismail stations would be affected at the LRT Ampang – Sri Petaling Line.
“The stations concerned from the LRT Kelana Jaya line are Kampung Baru, Dang Wangi, Masjid Jamek and Pasar Seni whereas alongside the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang line, Bukit Bintang Merdeka and Pasar Seni stations will be affected.
“The stations affected alongside the Monorail line are Medan Tuanku, Bukit Nanas, Raja Chulan, Bukit Bintang, Imbi, Hang Tuah, Maharajalela, Tun Sambanthan and KL Sentral whereas the KTM stations affected are Kuala Lumpur, Bank Negara and Putra,” he stated.
A complete of 1,010 personnel will be deployed on the bottom to guarantee no untoward incidents occurred.
