KUALA LUMPUR: A disagreement between reporters from a information portal and a safety guard at the Pudu Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) has led to police reports being lodged.
The Vibes tweeted on Saturday (May 14) that two of their reporters had been harassed by a safety guard at the Pudu UTC after they had been masking a narrative about lengthy queues for passport renewals.
In the video, a safety guard might be seen telling each reporters to go away instantly and to cease filming, earlier than shouting at them angrily.
The video ends after the guard is seen snatching the handphone of one of the reporters.
When contacted, Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Noor Dellhan Yahaya mentioned that police had been conscious of the matter.
“The safety guard lodged a report at 12.09pm. It is known that the representatives from the information portal are within the midst of making their very own,” he mentioned.
