JERANTUT: Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Bhd (PUNB) teamed up with the Prime Minister’s Department for a company social accountability programme, which was carried out at 4 villages in Ulu Tembeling right here.
A complete of 35 individuals have been part of the delegation led by PUNB chairman Datuk Ahmad Nazlan Idris and deputy secretary-general (administration) of the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Mohammad Ismail.
The group visited Kampung Gusai, Kampung Bantal, Kampung Orang Asli Bengoi and Kampung Kuala Sat, the place they met native residents and offered donations.
This included Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia’s (YaPEIM) donation of college uniforms to college students at Kampung Orang Asli Bengoi.
“We met the locals to get to know them better and also to get to know the problems they are facing,” Ahmad Nazlan mentioned in an announcement.
“Besides that, this welfare initiative also gives us the opportunity to contribute to the community and make them happy,” he added.
