KLANG: A residential area in Banting, Kuala Langat, was slightly flooded after heavy rain on Tuesday (March 8) due to a damaged river bund.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis stated the 2 areas had been Jalan Emas Kanan and Jalan Tembaga in Bukit Changgang.
“The river bund alongside Sungai Langat in Bukit Changgang gave means and water flowed into Jalan Tembaga.
“We have suggested the residents to maneuver their autos to greater floor in addition to be ready to maneuver in case of water rising,” he stated.
He added {that a} crew from the state Irrigation and Drainage Department was on the location repairing the broken bund.
Norazam additionally stated the division was retaining an in depth eye on Jalan Tembaga and the close by Jalan Emas Kanan.
