EDINBURGH (Reuters) – Rory Darge will make his first start for Scotland on Saturday once they tackle unbeaten France within the Six Nations Championship at Murrayfield in one among three adjustments to the beginning line-up introduced by coach Gregor Townsend on Thursday.
Darge debuted off the bench in Scotland’s final outing as they misplaced 20-17 to Wales and is one among two adjustments to the free forwards.
Magnus Bradbury begins for the injured Matt Fagerson, whereas Darge takes the place of Sam Skinner, who moved to the second row had been Jonny Gray is dominated out via damage.
Zander Fagerson returns to the entrance row beginning line-up instead of WP Nel, who shall be on the bench.
Townsend left the backline unchanged after the slim loss in Cardiff.
Centre Mark Bennett makes his return to a Scotland squad for the primary time since 2018 and can start from the bench. The centre has impressed for Edinburgh this season and can look to add to his 22 caps in a global profession that has seen him start on 17 events and rating six tries.
