MELBOURNE (Reuters) – Queensland flyhalf James O’Connor might be sidelined for as much as 4 weeks with a hamstring damage in a blow to the Reds’ hopes of going deep within the Super Rugby playoffs.
O’Connor, who solely lately returned to the sphere from a knee damage, was injured within the second half of the Reds’ 34-22 win over Moana Pasifika in Brisbane.
The Reds, who’re seventh, journey to the second-placed Canterbury Crusaders on Friday for their remaining match of the common season.
The postseason begins with the quarter-finals subsequent week.
