Rushdie shares new book excerpt as he makes recovery from stabbing attack

The creator Salman Rushdie launched excerpts of a new novel on Monday, 4 months after he was severely injured in a stabbing attack within the state of New York.

The New Yorker journal revealed an excerpt on-line entitled “A Sackful of Seeds” from the fifteenth novel by Rushdie, titled Victory City, which is because of be revealed in early February by Penguin Random House.
