MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia’s international minister accused Ukrainian leaders on Monday of making an attempt to pull Moscow into the battle in jap Ukraine, following an escalation in combating between authorities forces and rebels within the breakaway area.
“We observe makes an attempt to hold out provocations, elicit some response from the militia and drag Russia into some sort of fight motion,” Sergei Lavrov informed Russia’s state tv.
Russia accused Ukraine of destabilising the scenario after authorities forces used a Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drone to strike a place managed by Russian-backed separatists final week.
Rebels supported by Moscow have been combating authorities troops in Ukraine’s Donbass area since 2014, quickly after Russia seized and annexed the Crimea peninsula from Ukraine. Kyiv says at the very least 14,000 folks have been killed.
