BERLIN (Reuters) – Russia’s war in opposition to Ukraine, not Western sanctions, will add one other 40 or 50 million extra people to the ranks of the hungry, stated U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Berlin.
“There isn’t any purpose apart from Russia’s blockade of Ukraine and Russia’s refusal in lots of circumstances to export its personal grain for political causes,” stated Blinken at a joint information convention with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on Friday.
Baerbock stated worldwide companions have been working collectively to counter Russia’s “cynical” and probably destabilizing grains war and the corresponding propaganda.
