According to Samling’s general manager Choo Siong Liew, the donation comprised of surgical face masks, thermometers and sanitisers as part of their corporate social responsibility to help those in the front line fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The PPEs will also be donated to public hospitals in Bintulu, Miri and Lawas,” he said when presenting the supplies to Sarikei Hospital director Dr Tey Siew Chang yesterday.

Meanwhile Dr Tey advised members of the public to exercise greater self-discipline and comply with the movement control order (MCO).
