KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) Friday Belik is leading in Krian, according to early unofficial results.
Friday has 1,570 votes whereas the seat’s incumbent Datuk Ali Biju is in second place with 1,341 votes.
This is regardless of Ali saying his withdrawal from the four-way contest in Krian – three days after he was nominated as an impartial candidate.
Parti Sarawak Bersatu’s Musa Dinggat is third with 1,038 votes whereas Parti Bumi Kenyalang’s Danny Kuan has 89 votes.
Ali, who’s from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia, received the Krian seat in the final two elections as a PKR candidate.
