Singaporean actor Desmond Tan, who’s on vacation in Italy, was robbed whereas on a prepare, he shared on Instagram on Monday.
“My backpack just got stolen from me in a train in Italy. Just want to send a reminder to folks who are travelling during this period to be extremely careful,” Tan, 36, wrote on Instagram Stories.
He added that he misplaced his laptop, all his cash for the journey in addition to miscellaneous replaceable objects.
Just hours earlier, he had posted a sequence of pictures on the Milan Cathedral. It is his first time in the town and he’s travelling together with his spouse. They had tied the knot in France in December 2021.
On Wednesday, he up to date his Instagram Stories with a word to thank his followers for sending him encouragement, recommendation and prayers.
He mentioned he and his spouse had been protected and unhurt, including: “We are trying our best to put this incident behind us and focus on the rest of our vacation. We live to learn, that’s life.”
He additionally shared extra pictures from Milan and added: “Looking forward to only sharing happy moments from now on.”
This shouldn’t be the primary time he has been robbed whereas on vacation.
In March 2020, whereas in Bali, Tan and a good friend, who had been on a bike, had been ambushed by 4 males on two motorbikes.
