SKS Airways receives full air service licence


KUALA LUMPUR: A brand new industrial airline, SKS Airways Sdn Bhd, has been awarded the full air service licence (ASL) by the Malaysian Aviation Commission.

SKS Airways director Datuk Rohman Ahmad mentioned with the award of the ASL, the airline is poised to launch flight operations within the close to future.

An ASL is required to move passengers, mail or cargo on a set schedule by air between two locations, as long as it falls inside Malaysia’s borders.

An ASL will solely be issued to applicant that holds a sound Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), which SKS Airways obtained on Oct 1, 2021.

SKS was included on Nov 13, 2017, and is part of the SKS Group of firms.
