WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Startup expertise agency Pony.ai agreed to concern a recall for some variations of its autonomous driving system software after an October crash, U.S. regulators mentioned Tuesday
The recall covers three automobiles which have been repaired, the corporate instructed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The company mentioned Tuesday this was the “first recall of an automated driving system” and was in use by three automobiles. On Oct. 28, a Pony.ai automobile that had been working in autonomous mode hit a avenue signal on a median after turning proper, prompting California in December to droop its driverless testing allow.
