PETALING JAYA: Despite a standing ovation calling for the fifteenth basic election to be expedited, Umno’s Ketereh MP Tan Sri Annuar Musa (pic) claims that there were some Barisan Nasional leaders who didn’t stand.

Annuar was referring to the standing ovation on Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s speech on the Barisan forty eighth anniversary at World Trade Centre (WTC).

Annuar claimed the standing ovation was “instructed”, and regardless of being orchestrated, some leaders were seen awkwardly standing in help when Ahmad Zahid addressed the gang.

“The Barisan chairman requested the gang once they wished GE15 to be held. They (the gang) were later instructed to stand.

“I noticed many were shocked, and there were many who stood up spontaneously. Some are ready to see if their pals are standing or not.

“I agree that GE15 needs to be expedited, however solely as soon as Barisan is really ready,” added Annuar.
