KUALA LUMPUR: Companies which could see trading interest on Friday include DNeX, Maxis, Pasukhas and Leong Fuat after their corporate announcements, JF Apex Research says.

DNeX said it has been notified by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) of the arrest of several key management personnel of its semiconductor subsidiary SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd for possible graft.

Maxis has offered a performance share grant involving 10.5 million ordinary shares in the telecommunications group for its eligible employees, under its long-term incentive plan (LTIP).

Pasukhas inked an MoU with Porto Three Sixty Sdn. Bhd and Perbadanan Ketua Menteri Melaka to set up a consortium to jointly take part in the bidding process for the Public-Private Partnership Project for construction and operation of waste treatment plant waste to energy at Sungai Udang, Melaka.

Leon Fuat’s 2QFY21 net profit surged to RM32.1mil from RM2.7mil a year ago thanks to higher steel prices.

JF Apex Research also pointed out the US market declined for a fourth straight day despite better-than-expected jobless claims as investors seek more clarity on the Federal Reserve’s next move.

Earlier, European stocks were mixed after the European Central Bank kept its monetary policy unchanged.

At Bursa, the FBM KLCI tumbled 18.74 points to 1578.89. Following yesterday’s selldown, the FBM KLCI could remain sideways below the resistance of 1,600.
