PETALING JAYA: The Transport Ministry’s Integrity Unit chief Datuk Tan Kang Sai will now head the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) special operations division, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Transport Minister made the announcement, thanking Tan for his service to the ministry and his help to draft several crucial documents in the fight against corruption.

“He is diligent and capable and successfully completed the ministry’s Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2020-2025 with his team and at the same time ensuring that the ministry fulfilled the requirements of the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP),” he said in a Facebook post on Thursday (Sept 2).

Dr Wee added that Tan also helped to draft the ministry’s Anti-Corruption Management Manual System (SPAR) which was launched in June this year.

“The manual will be a reference and guide for the ministry’s divisions and units to prepare the necessary documentation towards obtaining the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification,” he added.

Tan served as the ministry’s integrity unit chief from July 1 2020 to Sept 1 this year.
