GOMBAK: Two thrillseekers found themselves in hot water after they threw firecrackers at a police team manning a roadblock near the Gombak toll plaza.
Unfortunately for them, they did not manage to run far, with the authorities arresting both not far from the roadblock.
Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe, in a statement on Wednesday (May 19), said that the incident occurred on Tuesday (May 18), at around 10.30pm.
“Checks on both led to the discovery of 14 round firecrackers and a lighter. There was no specific reason behind why they threw the firecrackers.
“Both men, aged 16 and 20 years old, have been remanded for three days,” he said.
