WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Treasury Department on Thursday added eight Chinese know-how firms, together with drone maker DJI Technology Co Ltd, to an investment blacklist, in accordance to the division’s website.
Treasury’s transfer, which additionally added Megvii Technology Limited, Xiamen Meiya Pico (*8*) Co Ltd and others to the list of “Chinese military-industrial advanced firms,” bars Americans from buying or promoting sure publicly traded securities of the businesses.
