U.S. does not see imminent Russian amphibious assault of Odessa, U.S. official

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States does not imagine a Russian amphibious assault in or close to the Ukrainian metropolis of Odessa is imminent, a senior U.S. protection official stated on Sunday, amid rising concern a few potential assault on the town.

The official, who spoke on situation of anonymity, estimated Russia had launched about 600 missiles because the begin of the invasion and deployed into Ukraine about 95% of fight forces it had pre-staged outdoors of the nation.
