U.S. Forces in Japan to impose stronger measures against COVID infections


TOKYO (Reuters) – U.S. Forces in Japan (USFJ) on Thursday mentioned they’ve launched stricter measures to sort out a rise in COVID-19 instances which have raised issues that instances might unfold to communities round navy amenities in the nation.

The USFJ is “establishing extra stringent mitigation measures in an additional effort to stop virus transmission,” it mentioned in a press launch.

The measures embody requiring U.S. navy personnel to put on masks off base and for stricter testing mandates.
