KYIV (Reuters) – Ukraine is working with worldwide companions to create a United Nations-backed mission to restore Black Sea delivery routes and export Ukrainian farm produce, overseas ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko mentioned on Thursday.
Russia has captured a few of Ukraine’s greatest seaports and its navy controls main transport routes within the Black Sea, blocking Ukrainian shipments and deepening a worldwide meals disaster.
“We name on nations whose meals safety could endure extra from Russian aggression towards Ukraine to use their contacts with Moscow to power it to carry the blockade of Ukrainian seaports and finish the conflict,” Nikolenko wrote on Facebook.
