Ukrainian boy reaches safety in Hungary in time for his 2nd birthday

TISZABECS, Hungary (Reuters) – Clutching her son dressed in a thick inexperienced snowsuit to guard him from the freezing chilly, 28-year-old Ukrainian Svetlana smiled faintly when requested his title as they arrived at a shelter in Hungary.

“His title is Semyon. He might be two years outdated in two days.”

She, Semyon, her older son Dmitry and her mom lastly made it throughout Ukraine’s border to Hungary on Tuesday, after a deadly, lengthy drive from Kyiv.
