WASHINGTON (Reuters) – United Airlines mentioned late on Monday the present U.S. 5G wi-fi rollout plan would negatively impact an estimated 1.25 million United passengers and a minimum of 15,000 flights yearly and urged President Joe Biden’s administration to take motion.

U.S. airways warn 5G interference might compromise key security programs and end in suspended passenger and cargo flights. They need some 5G deployment set for Wednesday delayed round key U.S. airports.

United mentioned the present guidelines “will end in important restrictions on 787s, 777s, 737s and regional plane in main cities like Houston, Newark, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago.”
