(Reuters) – Walmart Inc has signed a deal with electrical automobile maker Canoo Inc to buy delivery automobiles as a part of the U.S. retailer’s aim to obtain zero emissions by 2040.

Walmart will purchase 4,500 EVs from Canoo with the choice to buy up to 10,000 models to enhance its on-line enterprise, the businesses mentioned in an announcement on Tuesday.
