PASIR PUTEH: A lady was killed and four others, together with a toddler, had been injured in an accident involving eight automobiles and 21 bicycles in Jalan Kamunting right here Thursday (July 14).
Pasir Puteh Fire and Rescue Station chief Azhar Elmi Mustofar mentioned a lorry carrying a load of iron rods collided with one other automobile in the 9.05am incident.
“The automobiles concerned in the incident had been two lorries carrying sand and iron rods, 21 bicycles, a sports activities utility automobile (SUV), three vehicles and two bikes.
“Thirteen personnel from the Pasir Puteh and Tok Bali hearth and rescue stations had been deployed to the scene of the incident after receiving a name informing them of the accident.
“There had been 5 5 victims – a lady who died, a toddler who was severely injured and three others who had been evenly injured,” he mentioned when contacted by Bernama.
He added that each one the victims had been despatched to the Tengku Anis Hospital in Pasir Puteh. Cleaning-up work on the location of the accident was accomplished at 11am Thursday. – Bernama
