KUALA LUMPUR: The police will probably be keeping a close eye on the football friendly between Malaysia and Hong Kong on Wednesday (June 1).

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar, in a press release Wednesday, stated that visitors stream will probably be managed by the police from 5.30pm.

“As a security measure, checks will be conducted before and after entry into the stadium. Body and baggage checks will be conducted.

“Contraband includes fireworks, lasers, matches and helmets,” he stated.

Police summonses will probably be issued to automobiles that block any stream of visitors, he stated.

Security will even be targeted at entrances and at a number of key areas across the pitch.

He additionally urged highway customers to keep away from the areas close to the Bukit Jalil Stadium if they aren’t there to look at the sport.

“We urge all to wear their face masks in crowded areas and to maintain decorum. Do not provoke and cause disturbances throughout the match,” he stated.
