GUANGZHOU, July 3 (Xinhua) — Twenty-seven individuals had been missing after a floating crane sank in waters off the coast of south China’s Guangdong Province on Saturday morning, in response to the provincial maritime search and rescue heart Sunday.
At 3:50 a.m. Saturday, the floating crane was discovered through monitoring system to have had dragged anchor and was in hazard after its mooring chain broke whereas it was avoiding hurricane Chaba in waters close to the town of Yangjiang.

Rescue helicopters, rescue vessels and service provider vessels close by have been mobilized to seek for the missing individuals, mentioned the middle.
Three individuals had been rescued at about 12 p.m. Saturday and 27 others fell into water and had been missing, the middle mentioned.
Search and rescue efforts are nonetheless underway.
