Applicants to local unis can check their status on July 16

PETALING JAYA: Holders of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) results or their equivalent who have applied to study in public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and Public Skills Training Institution (ILKA) can check their status from noon on Friday (July 16).

In a statement on Thursday (July 15), the Higher Education Ministry said the application status into Certificate, Foundation Studies, Diploma programmes and the Bachelor of Architecture Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Academic Session 2021/2022 programme can be found at https://jpt.utm.edu.my, http://jpt.uum.edu.my, https://jpt.unimas.my, https://jpt.ums.edu.my and http://jpt.umt.edu.my.

Successful candidates are required to accept or decline their offers and may print their offer letters by browsing the admissions page of their respective university websites from Saturday (July 17) to 26.

The official offer letter will be issued by the institutions within 10 days after accepting the offer.

Those who do not get their chosen certificate course can appeal through UPUOnline for entry into public universities and polytechnics.

Appeals can be done at https://upu.mohe.gov.my until July 26, and appeals to Community Colleges and ILKA can be forwarded directly to the institution.

All offers are final and any requests for transfer will not be entertained.

Appeals will be considered subject to vacancies in the programmes chosen after the registration of new students are completed.
