SEPANG: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says he’ll search clarification from Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on the standing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) inked between the Federal Government and Pakatan Harapan.
The Bersatu president and former prime minister stated the MOU was talked about in a gathering between the leaders of Perikatan Nasional and Ismail Sabri final week and it was agreed that no discussions have been required at the moment on whether or not or not it ought to be prolonged.

The MOU comprised six initiatives particularly empowerment of Covid-19 plans, administrative transformation, parliamentary reforms, Malaysia Agreement MA63, judicial independence and the arrange of a steering committee.
Earlier, Ismail Sabri was reported to have stated that he would abide by the choice of the Umno supreme council on the MOU and as Umno vice-president, he was topic to the choice made by the council.
On Ismail Sabri’s nomination as prime minister candidate for the fifteenth General Election (GE15), Muhyiddin stated it was Umno’s choice and Perikatan didn’t share the identical stance. – Bernama
