KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Holdings Bhd
has returned to the black with a net profit of RM170.10 million for the monetary 12 months ended Dec 31, 2021 (FY2021) in contrast with a net lack of RM550.90 million in FY2020.
Revenue rose by 43 per cent to RM11.31 billion from RM7.88 billion beforehand, it mentioned in a submitting with Bursa Malaysia at present.
It mentioned that for FY2021, the plantation division recorded larger income of RM1.05 billion (FY2020: RM763 million) on the again of upper palm product costs.
On prospects, the group is anticipating progress for all its 5 divisions in 2022 to be pushed by the Reinventing Boustead Strategy (RBS).
Under the RBS, the group goals to speed up worth creation with efficiency enchancment programmes, faucet into new income streams, streamline non-strategic belongings and embark into the expertise and digital companies sectors.
“The group is stepping up its efforts to drive long-term worth by means of numerous environmental, social and governance initiatives and propositions,” it added. – Bernama
