Bursa Malaysia lifts MGRC’s affected issuer status

KUALA LUMMPUR: Bursa Securities Malaysia has uplifted Malaysian Genomics Resources Centre Bhd’s classification has an affected listed company.

In an announcement, the group mentioned this follows the inventory trade operator’s determination to waive its submission of a regularisation plan after being categorised as an affected listed company pursuant to Rule 8.03A of the itemizing necessities.

“I’m extraordinarily grateful to the group for working diligently to get Malaysian Genomics out of the affected issuer classification status and welcome this information from the regulator.

“Our diversification into biopharmaceutical companies, particularly the distribution of immunotherapy and cell therapies, has supported the monetary efficiency of the Group. I imagine that we are able to develop collectively, as a group,” mentioned MGRC government director Azri Azerai in an announcement.

In a latest announcement on its 3Q22 efficiency, MGRC reported a revenue earlier than tax of RM1.96mil in contrast with PBT of RM200,000 in 3Q21.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at 1.6 sen for 3Q22 in contrast with EPS of 0.19 sen within the corresponding quarter of the earlier monetary yr.
